In celebration of Pride Month and unwavering support of equal rights for all, Long Island Board of REALTORS® (LIBOR) proudly joins communities across Long Island to uplift and honor the LGBTQIA+ community through active participation, sponsorship, and advocacy.
On June 8, 2025, LIBOR members proudly marched in the 3rd Annual Patchogue Pride Parade, a vibrant celebration of visibility, inclusion, and joy. Adorned in LIBOR Pride sunglasses, carrying banners, and spreading love with branded Pride bubbles, LIBOR REALTORS® took to Main Street alongside thousands of parade-goers in a powerful display of unity and support for LGBTQIA+ rights. Now in its third year, the Patchogue Pride Parade has become one of the region’s most anticipated Pride celebrations, drawing over 15,000 attendees.
This Pride Month, LIBOR is also sponsoring two additional cornerstone community events. Pride Prom 2025, taking place on June 18 at the Meadow Club in Port Jefferson, is a reimagined prom experience for LGBTQIA+ adults of all ages. Hosted by Queerli, this event offers a safe and affirming space to celebrate queer joy and identity—especially for those who may not have had the opportunity to express themselves freely at their own proms. Later in the month, LIBOR will participate in Pride on the Mile on June 21, a lively celebration along Freeport’s Nautical Mile featuring live music, performances, local vendors, and a joyful atmosphere of inclusion and pride.
"At LIBOR, we believe that everyone deserves a place to call home, and we are committed to ensuring that our industry reflects these values," said Mark Donnelly, LIBOR President. "We are honored to stand with the LGBTQIA+ community—not just during Pride Month, but every day—as we promote a message of acceptance, equality, and love."
LIBOR’s engagement throughout Pride Month is more than symbolic. It reflects the organization’s deep commitment to inclusion and fair housing for all. Through ongoing advocacy and community involvement, LIBOR continues working toward a real estate industry where everyone—regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity—feels welcome, supported, and valued.
