Instructor - Jay S Gootenberg

Jay Gootenberg is a NYS Certified Trainer & Instructor for the Long Island Board of REALTORS®. He has sponsored many of the LIBOR chapters including the Women's Council of REALTORS®. Having joined LIBOR in 1988, he has been a non-practicing NYS licensed Real Estate agent. With many REALTORS®' influence, Jay decided to specialize in the real estate industry and provide Brokers and Agents with Errors and Omissions Insurance, Personal and Commercial Insurance and Home Warranties for over 31 years. He currently works within the this industry as a consultant, providing, teaching and servicing different real estate programs.

Jay has presented at other REALTORS® Associations including, HGAR, SIBOR, SMART MLS, and MOMLS. He contributes to his community and holds the position of VP for the Manorville Chamber of Commerce. He is also the Director of Finance and has been a member, since 1997 of the Eastport - South Manor Sports Association, a Not for Profit athletic and Little League program, hosting nine sports for the local communities youths and adults.

In 2007, he received the prestigious LIBOR Affiliate of the Year Award.

Jay graduated from Hofstra University in 1985 with a Bachelors Degree of Business Administration and immediately started his career in the insurance industry.
