The focus is to make sure that any interaction with the consumer is positive to the best of our ability and we are aware of any cultural differences between us and accommodate those differences without any discriminatory actions. We must be aware of the fair housing laws and apply them to every aspect of our dealings with the buyer, seller, landlord, tenant, etc. How do I know I am culturally competent? How to interact with people from other cultures effectively with respect and dignity. Why should I try to understand the culture of others?
