In his State of the City speech on Thursday, NYC Mayor Eric Adams said his administration is committing more than $22 million to tenant protection programs. Mayor Adams said the city is planning to boost enforcement against landlords who try to push out tenants or discriminate against renters using housing vouchers, including the use of paid testers posing as prospective tenants.
