Tuesday's Special Election: Newsday Endorses Suozzi, House Speaker Rallies With Pilip

With early voting ending Saturday, February 11, Newsday's editorial board  endorsed Democrat Tom Suozzi for his bipartisan record during his previous 3-terms in Congress and  slammed Republican nominee Mazi Pilip as "the wrong person for the job." U.S. House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-Louisiana) and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-Brooklyn)  both came to Nassau to rally and fundraise, underscoring the national stakes and millions spent over who will replace  George Santos. Election Day polls are open 6 AM-9 PM on Tuesday, February 13. Check with  Nassau County or the  New York City Board of Elections for information on voting locations.
