Doreen Spagnuolo, Long Island Board of REALTORS® (LIBOR) Chief Executive Officer (CEO), has been named one of the 2024 Herald Premiere Business Women of Long Island by RichnerLIVE. Spagnuolo, along with other distinguished business leaders from across Long Island, was honored at the publication’s awards ceremony on March 20, 2024, at the Heritage Club at Bethpage in Farmingdale.
The 5th Annual Herald Premier Business Women of Long Island Awards celebrates exceptional female business leaders who have made significant strides in their fields and positively impacted their industries and the communities they serve. The award recognizes achievements across various categories such as real estate, nonprofits, hospitality, and financial services.
As CEO of LIBOR, Spagnuolo brings a wealth of experience to her leadership role. Having served as LIBOR's in-house Counsel for 15 years prior to assuming the CEO position in September 2023, Spagnuolo possesses a deep understanding of the organization's intricacies and challenges. Her tenure includes notable roles such as Partner at Feldman, Rudy, Kirby & Farquharson, P.C., where she dedicated nine years to legal practice, and as an Assistant District Attorney at the Queens County District Attorney's office.
Spagnuolo's academic achievements include a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Hofstra University and a Juris Doctor from St. John's University School of Law. Her commitment to professional excellence is exemplified by her attainment of the esteemed REALTOR® Association Certified Executive (RCE) designation, the only professional designation designed specifically for REALTOR® association executives. This prestigious accolade underscores her dedication, extensive experience, and ambition in association management.
In her role as CEO, Doreen Spagnuolo leads one of the largest and most diverse local REALTOR® associations in the nation.
