NYC Mayor: Cuomo, Mamdani Raise Top Dollars; Mayor Adams & Ramos Sputter

Leading the field: "According to numbers provided to NY1 from many of the top-tier mayoral candidates, Cuomo led fundraising in the last two-month period — from mid-January to mid-March. He brought in more than $1.5 million into his campaign in just 13 days. Assemblyman Zohran Mamdani (D-Astoria), a relative unknown from Queens, came in second, with $845,000 — an impressive figure for the left-leaning lawmaker."

Way at the back: "Former Bronx Assembly Member Michael Blake brought in $140,000, but he has just $18,000 in his campaign account and has not qualified for matching funds, CFB records show. State Sen. Jessica Ramos (D-Jackson Heights) is trailing the pack. She only raised $70,000 this reporting period, has not qualified for matching funds, and is $811 in the red," reported AMNY.

Is he really running? "Mayor Eric Adams’ re-election campaign raised just $18,967 in the latest fundraising period according to a campaign finance disclosure statement submitted late Monday, raising more questions about the future of his re-election bid," reported WNYC's Gothamist.
