NAR & LIBOR Co-Host REALTOR® Meet & Greet with New US Rep. Gillen (D)

Long Island's newest member of Congress, US Representative Laura Gillen (D-Town of Hempstead, City of Long Beach) joined NAR staff and LIBOR members for a meet and greet at Dunn's River Lounge in Rockville Centre.

Representing one of the nationally critical "battleground" districts in the current United States House of Representatives, Laura Gillen discussed her moderate approach to policymaking and how to work more closely with REALTORS® to help solve the housing crisis responsibly.

LIBOR CEO Doreen Spagnuolo, Board President Mark Donnelly, President-Elect Shaan Khan, Secretary-Treasurer Yvette Clark Watkins, Nassau/Suffolk Government Affairs Chair Paige Ryan, Nassau/Suffolk Government Affairs Vice Chair Natasha Williams, RPAC Committee Chair Erica Turner, former President Susan Helsinger, and RPAC Vice Chair and former President Gina Marie Bettenhauser were all in attendance.

Mary Alice Ruppert, a member of the LIBOR Board of Directors, proudly serves as Federal Political Coordinator (FPC) for the 4^th Congressional District. She will lead a lobby visit to US Rep. Gillen's office on Capitol Hill on June 4^th as part of NAR's RLM 2025 Conference in Washington, DC.
