2014 MLSLI™ Leadership Names Anthony Atkinson President

November 14, 2013 - West Babylon, NY - The Multiple Listing Service of Long Island, Inc. (MLSLI™) has recently named a new Executive Committee. Leading the MLSLI of Long Island is incoming President Anthony Atkinson.  Anthony was installed into office by LIBOR Past President and Board General Counsel Cathy Nolan at the MLSLI Installation and Recognition Luncheon held on November 13th at the Woodbury Country Club.

Anthony Atkinson has been a licensed Realtor® in New York since 1997.  He is the Broker/Owner of Weichert Realtors Quality Homes in Baldwin.  Anthony will serve as the 2014 MLSLI President. Previously he held the position of MLSLI Vice President for Nassau Treasurer and Secretary.  Throughout his years with MLSLI and the Long Island Board of REALTORS® (LIBOR) Anthony has served on the Advertising, Marketing and Promotion, Nominating and the Strategic Planning Committees. He also serves as the Co-Chair for LIBOR’s Professional Standards Committee and currently serves as Chair for many Professional Standards Ethics and Arbitration hearings. He has been the Co-Chair of the Fair Housing and Cultural Diversity Committee and Treasurer of the Nassau South Shore Chapter. Anthony currently serves on the LIBOR Budget and Finance Committee.

On the state level Anthony was an active Director of the New York State Association of REALTORS® and a member of many state committees.  In addition Anthony holds the CRS, CRB, SRES, SFR, GRI and ABR professional designations. His experience and expertise have proven him an invaluable asset to the Board he serves on and the real estate industry as a whole.

Joining Anthony on the 2014 MLSLI Executive Committee members are Vice President Suffolk Kevin Loiacono, Vice President Nassau Vincent DellAccio, Vice President Queens John Rodriguez, Treasurer Frank Paruolo and Secretary Barbara Ford.
