Long Island Board of REALTORS® (LIBOR) is proud to announce the recipients of the 12th annual Young Professionals Network (YPN) 20 Under 40 Rising Stars in Real Estate Awards. The class of 2023 was honored at the Association’s awards ceremony at the Crest Hollow Country Club on June 27, 2023.
Since 2011, LIBOR’s YPN has recognized young members making an extraordinary difference in their businesses and communities. Selected out of a highly competitive field of candidates, members of the 20 Under 40 class of 2023 have not only demonstrated ingenuity, creativity, and leadership in their careers but have also displayed the ability to adapt to new trends in the ever-evolving market.
This year’s honorees represent a diverse range of backgrounds, including those who have transitioned from successful careers in other industries, such as running a non-profit organization focused on economic development in Africa, to teaching high school economics, as well as second and third-generation REALTORS® who have continued their family’s legacy.
A commonality shared by all is their deep commitment to delivering exceptional service in meeting their clients’ needs and goals. Many have used their experience and education in marketing, communications, design, and technology to guide their clients through a stress-free and successful transaction from start to finish. Others have made it their mission to educate and advocate building wealth through homeownership by helping those who have never thought they could achieve the American Dream.
"Congratulations to the outstanding Class of 2023, 20 Under 40 Rising Stars in Real Estate,” said YPN President Dan O’Neil. “This year’s honorees are a testament to the thriving real estate industry on Long Island. Their commitment to their clients and communities is inspiring, and we are proud to recognize them for their achievements.”
It is with great honor that LIBOR celebrates the accomplishments of these young entrepreneurs who represent the best and brightest in the real estate industry.

The 2023 applicants were chosen by the YPN selection committee, competing among a group of well-qualified candidates for their excellence in the areas of sales production, leadership, and community involvement. The committee strives to ensure they have a diverse group of finalists in terms of business niches, gender, ethnic background, and geographic location. Additionally, the committee looks for compelling stories — such as interesting business strategies or obstacles overcome - in choosing recipients.
The over 300 guests in attendance at the awards ceremony also had the opportunity to celebrate YPN founding President Kate Conquest, who was recognized as this year’s recipient of the YPN Lifetime Achievement Award for her unparalleled leadership and dedication to the formation of LIBOR’s YPN in 2010; as well as hear from keynote speaker Moses Seuram, Honorary Advisor to LIBOR YPN and LIBOR and NYSAR Past President, who implored attendees to get involved with LIBOR, volunteer and build their network to help build their business.
LIBOR’s YPN, a division of the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR), helps young real estate professionals excel in their careers by giving them the tools and encouragement to become involved in their REALTOR® association, real estate industry, community, and their peers.
