Long Island Board of REALTORS® Awards Christina Shaw 2022 REALTOR® Affiliate of the Year

Christina Shaw of The Christina Shaw Allstate Agency has been named 2022 REALTOR® Affiliate of the Year by Long Island Board of REALTORS® (LIBOR). The award was presented at the Association’s annual Installation and Awards Event held on January 5, 2023, at Oheka Castle in Huntington, NY.

LIBOR’s REALTOR® Affiliate of the Year award recognizes one LIBOR Affiliate member annually who provides outstanding service to LIBOR, and has a positive, professional impact on the real estate industry.

Shaw, an insurance expert with more than 20 years of experience, started The Christina Shaw Allstate Agency in 2009, which serves all of New York State, specifically Long Island and the five boroughs.

Her journey into the insurance world began in 1999 when Shaw was still in college and led to her buying her own agency 10 years later.

Shaw specializes in personal lines insurance including property, rental, and flood insurance. After her own experience with losing her home in a fire, she understands the incredible importance insurance can have in protecting families and their homes.

As an affiliate member of LIBOR, Shaw works with many REALTORS® to ensure home buyers are getting top-notch coverage to protect their new homes.

A passionate community member, Shaw volunteers regularly on behalf of several causes with her team and was a recipient of the prestigious Ray Lynch Award in 2014 for her dedication to community service.  The award, Allstate’s top national honor which commends an agency owner or financial specialist for giving back and supporting their local community, is presented to one agent annually, out of 10,000 Allstate agents.

Shaw is also a proud single mother of her two daughters, Mia and Mackie, who provide her with the focus, energy, and drive to lead her team and make an impact.
