REALTOR® Ed Ryan was named the recipient of the 2024 Lifetime Achievement Award by Long Island Board of REALTORS® (LIBOR). The award was presented at the Association’s annual Installation and Awards Event held on January 23, 2025, at Garden City Hotel in Garden City, NY.
LIBOR’s Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes one REALTOR® annually who has made significant contributions to the association and real estate profession through leadership, teamwork, and community involvement. These industry leaders serve as icons in the real estate community.
Ryan has been a prominent figure in the real estate market for over 41 years, specializing in the South Shore of Nassau and Suffolk Counties. Renowned for his expertise and dedication, Ryan has consistently ranked among the top-producing real estate agents in the region. In 2009, he established his brokerage, the Ed Ryan Real Estate Group, which quickly exceeded expectations and secured a significant market share within its first year. Ryan is highly respected by clients and competitors alike for his professionalism and integrity.
Ryan has a distinguished history of leadership and service within the real estate industry. He served as the LIBOR Suffolk South Shore Chapter President from 2017 to 2019 and as a member of LIBOR’s Board of Directors from 2015 to 2020. Currently, he serves on the Board of Directors for the Metro REALTORS® Federal Credit Union. A passionate advocate for the industry, Ryan has been a dedicated supporter of RPAC since 2014, achieving Major Investor status and continuously encouraging fellow REALTORS® to recognize the value of RPAC and participate in LIBOR committees. In 2024, Ryan’s unwavering commitment was recognized with his induction into the LIBOR RPAC Hall of Fame.
Beyond real estate, Ryan is deeply engaged in his community. He actively contributes to organizations such as the West Islip Chamber of Commerce, West Islip SEPTA, West Islip Breast Cancer Coalition, and the West Islip Beautification Society. His dedication extends to sponsoring various youth and sports organizations in his market area, further solidifying his positive impact on the community.
