Long Island Board of REALTORS® (LIBOR) proudly hosted its 7th Annual Global Breakfast on March 13, 2025, at The Hamlet Golf and Country Club in Commack, NY. This highly anticipated event was held in celebration of Global Success Month, a nationwide initiative by REALTOR® Associations that promotes and strengthens global business opportunities for real estate professionals.
The event was a tremendous success, drawing more than 100 REALTORS® and industry professionals eager to expand their global knowledge, build international connections, and explore new opportunities in the international real estate market. This exclusive half-day program delivered timely industry insights, expert-led presentations, and valuable networking experiences that inspired attendees to elevate their global business strategies.
Participants gained practical strategies for navigating international transactions, learned about emerging trends in global real estate, and celebrated the achievements of newly designated Certified International Property Specialists (CIPS). The program also included updates on upcoming trade missions and global partnerships, energizing attendees to broaden their reach across borders.
Stephanie Aker, CIPS, Global Council Engagement & Development Manager at the National Association of REALTORS®, provided key updates from NAR’s Global division, highlighting current trends, international policy developments, and growth opportunities for REALTORS® nationwide.
Anthony Domathoti, CIPS, delivered a compelling presentation titled “Unlocking International Markets: A Guide to Seamless Global Transactions,” where he shared expert insights into navigating cross-border deals, overcoming international business challenges, and capitalizing on opportunities in emerging global markets.
The event concluded with a powerful panel discussion, “The Global Advantage: Expert Insights & Best Practices,” featuring industry leaders Aldo Iemma, CIPS; Erica Solomon, CIPS; Yodi Langan, CIPS; and Yoshi Takita, CIPS. Panelists shared their perspectives on global market trends, best practices, and the critical skills needed to succeed in international real estate.
LIBOR President Mark Donnelly emphasized the importance of global engagement in today’s market. “The success of this year’s Global Breakfast underscores the growing demand for international expertise among our members,” said Donnelly. “LIBOR remains committed to providing our REALTORS® with the education, tools, and global connections they need to thrive in an increasingly interconnected world.”
Global Success Month continues throughout March, spotlighting LIBOR’s active and innovative Global Council. Through ongoing content, resources, and programming, the council empowers members to expand their businesses and seize opportunities in the global marketplace.
